"Are you committed yet?", I asked,
to a man standing in the shadows of loom.
He was the one I loved,
it was you!
I watched you pass my life,

making it a doom.

But still I longed to,

just have a glimpse of your face,
I knew i wasn't that lucky to join you in your race!
watching me in the moon,
you said a casual "no",

but I knew you were full of woe-
you knew that I love you,
But you reacted as my unknown foe.
I wept in the rain-

hoping for the memories to drain.
I loved you from the bottom of my heart,

but never did I think that we'll fall apart!
Days went and so went the years,
but there wasn't any sign of yours.
Now I am trying to recover myself,
thinking that you will be happy in your own self.
I now take a vow that I'll be okay soon,
and think that you'll live a life of bloom!

Days pass by somehow,
but nights are a wagon of pain.
Injuries may heal with time,
but marks will always remain.

Restless on my comfortable bed I toss and turn and try to sleep,
but thoughts are bulking in my head and formed a huge heap.
The past is flashing it's scorching light beams,

tearing me apart, breaking me at the seams.
The darkness of my life is more visible in the dark,
and now i am trying to give it a voice,
trying to speak my heart...

We've been friends now    

for a quite while,

through ups and downs,

tears and smiles.

All those letters ending,

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!

all those ideas,

some crazy some clever..

we shared the bad times and the happiness,

we know our friendship

would be nothing less.

The times we spent together,

I'll always keep in my heart

we know these memories

will last from start.

Talking on hours on the phone,

you always had good advice to loan..

So I dedicate this poem to you,

because you are a friend who has stayed true!

twinkle twinkle little star,

friendship is a superstar!

a world without friends,

shall always lead to dead ends!

friends are there to wipe our tears,

and help us overcome our fears!
